Angles of Light

Last Week I threw out worring, it was getting old and in the way.

It kept me from being me; I couldn't do things God's way.

I threw out a book on MY PAST
(Didn't have time to read it anyway).

Replaced it with NEW GOALS, started reading it today.

I threw out hate and bad memories,
(Remember how I treasured them so)?

Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too, threw out the one from long ago.

Brought in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, and I MUST.

Threw out I might, I think and I ought.
WOW, you should've seen the dust.

I ran across an OLD FRIEND, I hadn't talked to in a while.

His name is GOD the Father, and I really like His style.

He helped me to do some cleaning and added some things Himself.

Like PRAYER, HOPE , FAITH and LOVE,
Yes... I placed them right on the shelf.

I picked up this special thing and placed it at the front door.

I FOUND IT - it's called PEACE. Nothing gets me down anymore.

Yes, I've got my house looking nice.

Looks good around the place.

For things like Worry and Trouble there just isn't any space.

It's good to do a little house cleaning,
Get rid of the things on the shelf.

It sure makes things brighter; maybe you should TRY IT YOURSELF.
BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!


May the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that
you will not have ro om enough to receive it all.

May the Lord bless you exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever

He Is My All

He Is My All is a 10 week journey where you will encounter a God who adores you by Debbie Alsdorf. We are now into week 5 of this journey. As I go through this journey in experiencing how much God loves me and how He sougth me out for His devine purpose has been amazing. It opens up a whole new perspective for me. Most I already knew, but Debbie has a way of making it more personal and making you search your heart and your relationship with God more closely. I just never realized how much God loves me and how important I am to Him. It blows my mind to think that He knew me before I was conceived and that I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God. I am God miracle!!! He created me for Him. He has ordained a plan for my life that only can be achieve through me for Him. How awesome it that!

He Is My All means that in all that I do, I do to glorify God. He is the sole purpose why I exist. What I know is that as I walk this journey with God, there will be times when I feel afraid, confused, and maybe a little lonely. But glory be to God, that I also know that those are the times when he holds me even closer and at time he carries me. I am never alone, because God tells me in His word that he will never leave me nor forsake me and he will be will me all the days of my life.

As I go though this journey, I am seeing God's promises to me and His love and grace for me. I will cling to His promises and keep them dear to my heart for my only purpose is to be used by God. I will face each day with the assurance that God loves me and has ordained my steps. That no matter what He calls me to do that He has already equiped and prepared me. I will no longer ask why me Lord, but praise Him for chosing me. I will learn to praise him through trails and tribulation and ask what it is He want me to learn. For the battle is not mine it the Lord. I am God servant and I want to be ready when He calls. So I will stay in His word and live accordingly to His Will and lean not on my understanding but His promises and His love.

I REALIZE THIS DAY, THIS MOMENT, IS TRULY A BLESSING.

I CHOOSE TO HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

Can't Nobody Love You Like Jesus

Hey, listen up. You want to experience love to the fullest. The can of love that will never let you down. That will never leave you feeling empty or depressed. The type of love that keeps giving and never asks for anything in return. The kind of love that will rock your world everytime and keep you thirsting for more. That love that will except you for the wonderful person that you are and will only make you better. The kind of love that gives you hope. You dig what I'm saying. There's only one love like that and it's Jesus.

I dare you to try his love. I double and tripple dare you to try his love. Go ahead. What are you afraid of? I know, your afraid that you will learn to love him as much as he loves you. Can't Nobody Love You Like Jesus.

Thankful!!

I am sooooooooooooooo thankful for God's Amazing Love. It's the kind of love that will never fail you. He'll give it to you whether you want it or not. There's no other love like it. As much as I love my family, they can't even show me that much love.

I am so thankful for my amazing family. God could have given me any family, but I am so grateful he gave me Gilbert Sr. (father), Nancy (Mother), Bonita (Sister), and Gilbert Jr. (Brother). We have our moments like any other family, but we always end a phone call with, "I love you." Also, I am so thankful because we are all saved!!!!! Yeah God!!!!!

I am thankful for all my Sista's in Christ! They are an awesome group of women and we have so much fun when we get together. We pray together, cry together, fellowship together, study God's Word together, go to Star Bucks together and always going some where to eat together. Humm, maybe we should start a biggest loser contest almongst us. What do you think ladies? We can burn off some of those calories from all that eating.

I am thankful for my Peyton. I don't thing he realizes how special he is to people. Even when he snooping (smiles). Everybody and I mean everybody needs a Peyton in their life.

I am so thankful for my co-workers. They are the coolest group and they help keep me young N heart!

I am thankful for the amazing staff at MSB! They have help me through the transition as a Branch Chief. Thank You Lord! Because anyone who knows anything knows that it can be hard coming to a new position with a lot of responsibility and on top of that have staffing problems. Did I say, "Thank You Lord!" Oh yes, Thank You Lord!!!! .........

I am thankful for peace of mind! Can I get an Amen!!!

I am thankful for resturants like Hanabi. I was on travel last week in Denver and ate at this resturant. It was wonderful!

I am so thankful I can do without sweets. Could you image the love for sweets on top of my love for food. All I can say is, "Double Whammy". It's bad enough when I have those once is a while cravings for sweets. Because when I get them, it's usually for a warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

I am thankful for limes. Oh, how I love limes.

The Cross + Jesus Sacrifice = Our Sins P.I.F. Reward: "Salvation to those who Believe!!

The Cross - It's were it all took place. Jesus paid the price of sin for all mankind so that we may have eternal life with him in heaven! Will you accept him today as your Lord and Savior?

For God so love the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall no parish but have eternal life. John 3:16

That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead, you ill be saved. Roman 10:9

If you believe Jesus is Lord and want to accept him as your Lord and Savior pray this Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I need You. I want You to be my Savior and my Lord. I accept Your death on the cross as the payment for my sins, and I now entrust my life to Your care. Thank You for forgiving me and for giving me new life. Please help me grow as a Christian so that my life will bring glory and honor to You. Amen.

for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Roman 10:13

Next step: Pray to God to lead you to a good bible teaching church. Attend Sunday school classes or attend bible study to learn how to read the bible. Spend time reading God's Word and ask for understanding. Spend time with God through prayer and worship.

How can I PRAY for you?

All my life I have been truly blessed by God. Not because of anything I've done, but because God had me on someone's mind and they prayed for me. My mother prayed for me everyday as a Child and continues to pray for me. My sisters in Christ pray for me and so many others. Praying for others is so powerful and brings such joy to God.

I am so thankful for all the prayers that go up on my behalf. So my prayer is to give back and pray for those who need prayer. God said, "Is any one of you in touble? He should pray..." James 5:13.

So from this day forward, How can I PRAY for you?

Yes, Lord

In making a decision, the greatest difficulty may not be in choosing between good and bad, but in choosing between good and best. You may have several options that all appear to be good. The place to start is to say with all of your heart: "Lord, whatever I know to be Your will, I will do. Regardless of the cost and regardless of the adjustment, I commit myself to follow Your will. Lord, no matter what that will looks like, I will do it!"

Balance is Healthy!!!!

Too much of one thing in your life is unhealthy! Learn to experience new things and live a little. Let your hair down once in a while. You may find that you are missing out on something that could bring about a major life change. So live today as though there is no tomorrow and try something new! Everyone one has something that they've always wanted to do and keep putting it off. Do it today!!!

Better to have tried than to not have done it at all!!!!

God's Love

I asked God to explain "His Love" and this is what he said:

Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurts? The hurt that you feel when that special someone is not able to love you back. They say that they love you, but they don't show you love. They won't acknowledge me when they wake in the morning. They won't read my WORD with me. They won't spend time in pray and worship with me. In all that I do, I show you love. Because I love you, I made you in my image. I breathed the very breath of life into you. At night as you sleep, I watch and protect you. I eagerly wait for you to awake each morning so I can spend the day with you. I love you so much that I sent my Son, Jesus, to come down and pay for your sins so that you may spend eternity with me. I am LOVE, pure unconditional love, and all that I do for you is out of that love and yet why is it so hard for you to love me back! I am a patient God and I will never force you to do something that you don't want to do. That's call "free will". But I will always be near waiting for that day when you want to love me as much as I love you.
